About Us
Something to Patch About is an Australian business specialising in patchwork and quilting fabrics.
We have been in operation since September 2005 and have enjoyed assisting many people through our E-bay store. We aim to provide quilters with beautiful fabrics minus the large prices along with outstanding service.
“We” are a husband and wife team who have dreamed of owning our own business for many years. It seemed a natural progression to sell fabric. I can’t remember a time in my life when I haven’t been surrounded by fabric and sewing. My grandmother, mother, aunts, cousins and friends have all enjoyed sewing and a myriad of craft activities over the past few years. My husband has a business and computing background who understands that a patchwork/quilter can never have enough fabric. Starting a fabric shop seemed a natural thing to do….
And after the birth of our twins (boy/girl) in Sept 2004 we decided we could tackle anything. We also have a gorgeous big sister who is 4.5 going on 24!!

Like you we are busy people who enjoy our hobbies and most importantly spending time with our family.
Something to Patch About provides people with the opportunity to shop 24 hours a day, seven days a week at their leisure.
Your order is delivered to your door without any parking hassles, no need to worry about chasing children around the fabric shop ensuring they don’t touch anything or simply having the luxury of not leaving home!! Some of our regular customers have commented on the ability to buy their fabrics online (at work mostly!!) and without any effort themselves, a lovely parcel arrives shortly after.
